FILM + DIGITAL
I am deeply inspired by unspoken gestures of love. You know... those actions and moments that you kind of have to read between the lines to understand. When I first found interest in photography almost ten years ago, I believe it was in an attempt to capture and express the emotions that I felt but just couldn't put words to. As I shifted my passion for this craft towards documenting weddings, that motive remained the same. The images that mean the most to me are those that subtly and honestly display love. That's not always just the pretty, posed kissing photo during golden hour. Sometimes its moments like this:
- Tightly squeezing your partners hand to offer comfort and support during an emotional toast.
- Offering your shoes & carrying your partners heels when their feet hurt towards the end of the wedding.
- That tear you hold back when you see your partner walking towards you at the ceremony.
And so many more.
IS STORY DRIVEN
You love belly laughs and think that the goofy, playful moments in relationships are just as important as the romantic ones. You may find yourself drawn to imagery that feels authentic and natural.
You enjoy the grandness of weddings, yet still value your partner, friends & family more than the event itself. This may mean that candid images with guests are just as important to you as the detail shots and romantic poses.
You believe that love is love and that all are created equal. Therefore, you fight for marriage equality and racial justice. You understand the importance of supporting vendors and venues that take a stand against the inequality within this industry
